Housing- Cost of Living
The Wheeling area’s low cost of living makes housing costs economical. Quality constructed homes are readily available and new housing developments are constantly under construction.
The community’s housing options range from elegant Victorian homes found throughout the city and suburbs to the stately mansions located on National Road. Contemporary developments, resort-type housing near Oglebay, as well as ultra modern condos and secluded country estates, are all part of the area’s unique housing spectrum. In addition, a large number of apartments and part-time/extended-stay housing is also available.
